Pumpkin Pottery Class
All ages!! Celebrate the fall season by creating your own unique pumpkin pottery! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn basic hand-building and sculpting techniques to shape clay into festive pumpkins—perfect for autumn décor or as a charming centerpiece. Our experienced instructor will guide you step-by-step, whether you’re a beginner or have some pottery experience. All materials and tools are provided, and you’ll have the opportunity to glaze and decorate your pumpkin with your choice of colors. Finished pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pick-up at a later date. Come join us for a fun, creative, and seasonal experience!
Pottery is the craft and art of shaping clay into functional or decorative objects, such as bowls, vases, plates, and sculptures. Using techniques like hand-building, wheel throwing, and molding, potters transform raw clay into unique pieces. Once shaped, the pottery is fired in a kiln to harden it, and often glazed to add color, texture, and a protective finish.
