Join our immersive silversmithing class and discover the art of crafting your own sterling silver ring! This workshop is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike, offering a welcoming environment to explore traditional jewelry-making techniques.
During the class, you’ll start by learning how to accurately measure your finger and cut silver to the perfect length. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll shape the metal into a ring using professional tools, gaining hands-on experience in forming and manipulating silver.
One of the highlights of the class is mastering the essential skill of soldering. You’ll use a jeweler’s torch to heat and fuse the ends of your ring, creating a seamless band. Safety procedures and best practices will be emphasized to ensure you feel confident and comfortable throughout the process.
After soldering, you’ll refine your ring by filing, sanding, and polishing it to a brilliant shine. By the end of the session, you’ll have a unique, handcrafted silver ring to take home—along with a newfound appreciation for the craft of silversmithing.
All materials and tools are provided. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
