Borealis Art Guild is governed using a Policy Governance model, in which the Board of Directors focuses on mission, long-term vision, and desired outcomes for the organization, while delegating day-to-day operations to staff or designated leadership. The Board sets clear policies that define the Guild’s purpose, values, and boundaries, ensures financial and ethical accountability, and evaluates organizational performance against established goals, but does not manage programs or operations directly. This approach allows Borealis Art Guild to remain mission-driven, transparent, and strategically focused, while empowering those responsible for operations to make timely decisions in support of arts education, exhibitions, and community engagement.
